Discarded Water Bottles Transformed into Chuhuly Style Wreath

This morning these flowers started off as discarded water bottles.

1.  Cut the bottom off of the water bottle and set aside.
2.  Wash it in soapy water and dry thoroughly.
3.  Cut it so that it resembles a flower shape and then paint with glass paint following the instructions on the label..
4.  Drill a hole in the center and wire a bead through it for the center.
5.  Leave the wire on the back of the flower to attach to a wire wreath (found at Michaels).
6.  Cut leaves in the same way and attach to wreath.
7.  Keep adding more flowers until it is complete.

*Optional, before attaching flowers and leaves you can melt the plastic in an oven but make sure you are in a well ventilated space and wear a respirator to protect you from the fumes.
